Sandhya is shocked to know the truth about Suraj and his profession ** She finally seems to have come out of limbo ** Suraj is busily workig in his shop ...while on the outside Sandhya is having flashback 's about her dreams, aspirations etc etc.. Sandhya is asked to prepare Jalebi's ... Sandhya holds the Jalebi cloth , her castles breaking down all around her .. Bhabho orders Sandhya to prepare Jalebis and shut the trap of the neighbours, Sandhya is hesitant , Suraj holds her hands & gently guides her into Jalebi making.
IN THE TEMPLE
Bhabho has organized a hawan for the couple, Bhabho tells Sandhya to drink a sacred liquid from Suraj's hand thus cementing their relationships.. Sandhya briefly duels with herself, gets up from the Hawan abruptly , refuses to consume the proffered sacred liquid on the grounds that she does not accept this marriage ** Talk of bolting the stable door after the horse has bolted ** .. A shocked Suraj , Bhabho wants to know the reason ..Sandhya says that for a marriage to succeed, there has to be a common grounds , there has to be sharing of dreams,vision and she does not have any common vision with Suraj .. Sandhya further says she did not know about Suraj earlier , had she known about him and educated status she would have rejected him then and there ** who stopped u from asking ** .. Sandhya says that she has her own dreams and her own goals none of which are compatible with Suraj's profession .. She values books & education while suraj knows only about ladles and sweets.. A hurt Suraj says that he is proud of his profession and that he never lied about his profession to their family [...]
